In the old days, everyone learned how to use certain tools to weave, plant, or build. A modern equivalent is our current need to use technology to extend our mind's grasp and to allow us to leverage the knowledge we have accumulated into world-changing power. On this page, we need to list technology-related skills that our students should master in this course. For example:

Using technology to organize information and encourage collaboration (Wikispaces)
Using technology to share results and information (evernote)
Using a calculator/computer for difficult problems or to check accuracy of estimates
Using a computer to access data or do virtual experimentation (Mathematica)
Using a computer to analyze and display data in a meaningful way
Using a computer to visualize functions or make predictions
Using a computer to make accurate maps, drawings, or diagrams
Using tools of measurement
